SNOW !!!

Well we finally got some snow! this was the second snowfall . We wouldnt let the kids play in the first stuff it was way to wet and messy. If your wondering what that red thing is on the giant snowball. It is Matthew wrecking the start of Coltons snowman.
Getting suited up with warm coats, gloves and hats, is just part of the fun there is still hot cocoa to be drank!
So little snow, so little snow men or whatever Biz made.

Tumwater not so falls

Do not pay any attention to the date on the pics theyre wrong. This was the most recent flooding of tumwater valley which caused much devastation in Lewis County. If you have ever been to tumwater falls you can see the enormous change in water flow, even if you never have been I think you can get an idea. The pic on the bottom is of the golf course at the end of our main road which is only two blocks away. No houses were damaged in our neighborhood thanks to the vastness of the valley and our elevation. Gotta admit I was just a tad bit worried though.

BFFA&M

To kick of the holidays three very good friends and their mothers( who are also very good friends) went to see the Nutcracker at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Oly. It was a great show, we love the memories that the girls are creating together, and they didnt even wonder why the men didnt have any pants on.

I don't think Matt realizes that he was posing so cool beneath his brother and sister. I think the clear cool days are gone, time to get ready for wet and cold and hopefully SNOW!!!!!!!!!!

Thankfully we have a unusally dry fall or this picture would not have been so cute.

We love "fall" it means all the new colors, Thanksgiving is only around the corner, Christmas is on the way, playing in the leaves, oh yeah and raking the yard 6 times. Elizabeth created a fall bouquet isn't it beautiFall. Can you find Matt in the tree?

We can see these guys any time of the day around here, for now. There on their way out soon not by their choice though. And by the way dont pay any attentioin to the dates on our photos they are wrong.

Matt loves to get his grubbies on our digital camera, we never know what we are going to get after he has had it. This last time that I downloaded pictures I only kept 20 of about 75 that were on the camera. I asked Matt if he had gotten ahold of the camera and he said," nuh uh."

While Colton is playing soccer Matt is playing "ride em, tractor"?

Colton has had the opportunity to be involved in a soccer clinic this fall and is really enjoying it. We expect it will really advance his game. I think he has found his sport

The first day is much easier with familiar faces. Colton is in class with his friend Cooper and Biz with Parker and Amika.

Well school is off to a great start. Colton is now in the 4th grade. (I want to cry). Elizabeth has started 1st grade. ( I feel old). No Matt you can't go to school with bubba and sissy.(OK not that old).

Just trying to stay active in my new blogging hobby I came across this picture of our youngest son Matthew whom we love very much. This is his well known "Bucky Beaver" pose. If you ask nice he may do it for you.

Our most recent family photos are of our 3day weekend at Ocean shores. We had a blast, shopping, a few drives, the waterslides at the hotel but everybodies favorite was of course the beach and the weather couldnot have been better. Hey Matt any sand in your shorts?

Well, here we are! Thanks to our good friends Mark and Gwen we too are blogging. Mark totally started our page without me knowing, and the scary part is that he has my user name and password, who knows what could show up. I will apologize now. But seriously it will be fun and good way to keep in touch with those we love and don't get to see or talk to often enough. Hope to here from you.
